In August 2011, Lifehouse announced on their official Facebook page that they were working on their sixth studio album. The first single from their new album was released on September 11, 2012 and is called “Between the Raindrops.” The song features Natasha Bedingfield. On October 18, 2012, the band announced that the title of their sixth album is “Almeria”, which will be released on December 11th in the US, and December 12th worldwide. The album features guest appearances from Natasha Bedingfield, Chris Daughtry, Kevin Rudolf, Charles Jones and Peter Frampton.
