Jasiri X, the activist emcee who is as much about rocking the mic as he is about rocking the political boat, is all set to release his album Ascension, which he mentioned last year. Before that though, he’s treating everybody to a free album titled Rappers On X right now. It features his signature brand of well-informed topical raps and features (among others) contribution from Sadat X, Rhymefest, Ras Kass, Torae, Planet Asia, Invincible and Sage Francis.
