The album compromises of eleven well-written original tracks and the 1930’s classic ‘Dream A Little Dream’ Mitiku does the song justice though, keeping the arrangement simple with delicate strings, rolling piano and a smooth resonant bass line. This album has been labelled vintage pop and it is clear from the overall sound just how much Mitiku loves and respects classic jazz and soul. The new direction that Mitiku has taken could be down to more than just her own emotional maturity developing.
