The Other Side Of Me (T.O.S.O.M.) is Kapital K’s second free release, the follow up to last year’s Mixtape Master. Upon first listen I was extremely impressed with the project. Kapital manages to paint a vivid picture of his personal demons, aspirations & character over the project’s canvas. Throughout the project he shares stories of witnessing his mother being a victim of domestic abuse, feeling alone & misunderstood, running away from home, the love he shares for his girl & dealing with a life of wealth. Though during some instances when the latter topic is broached it is sometimes seen to come off more as a humble brag.
