Woman to Womanis Cole's first album without mentor and A&R executive Ron Fair after he left Geffen Records. Cole described the album as a "return to her roots" and a dedication to "her ladies. Woman to Woman is shares its name with the title track, a duet of the same name that Cole recorded with fellow R&B singer-songwriter Ashanti. the album is Cole speaking to encourage ladies who are in relationships with men that are no good, which is at a point where she once was. "Enough of No Love" is the album's leading single featuring Lil Wayne, "Trust and Believe" is the album's second single then "Zero"is the third and last preceding single assisted by MMG’s Meek Mill.
